The deck is poker sized, which only refers to the size of the card. A poker card is 3.5 inches tall by 2.50 inches wide.
This set of Modiano marked cards has a regular index. The regular index refers to the size of the pip (the letter or/and number in the corner of the card). A regular indexed card has a smaller pip but a larger picture in the middle than a jumbo index.

The blue cards are usually marked just with a big font in the middle. And the ink used for the marking is white.
The red cards (or orange, or pink) are marked with big letter or number in the middle, or with small fonts in the corners. The marks are also in different colors. You can find the red cards with black or white marks.
